An Giang Fisheries Import Export Joint Stock Company (AGIFISH Co.) was founded pursuant to the Decision No. 792/QĐ-TTg signed by the Prime Minister on June 28,2001.

Since September 01, 2001, AGIFISH has officially operated in form of a joint-stock company and was lisenced to issue its stocks in Vietnam stock market on March 3, 2002. In 2000, AGIFISH was awarded the title "Hero of Labor" by Vietnamese government and has become one of the leading companies in aquacultural business in Vietnam.

• Presently, AGIFISH is a member of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP)
  
  
• In all of its manufacturing processes, AGIFISH applies the quality control systems as follows: HACCP, ISO 9001 :2000, Safe Quality Food 1000 (SQF 1000); Safe Quality Food 2000 (SQF 2000), Global Standard For Food Safety (BRC), ISO 17025: 2005, ISO 14001:2004
  
  
• AGIFISH is approved to export its aquacultural products to EU market under four codes: DL07, DL08, DL09, DL360. It was aslo confered the HALAL certificate to export to domestic and international Islamic communities
  
  
• In the domestic market, AGIFIDH Basa products have consecutively gained recognition as "Vietnam High Quality Products" from 2003 through 2009
  
  
• AGIFISH is the only company in the aquacultural business that has won the title "Vietnam Value"
